There are Easter Eggs hunts all over Michigan in 2011! They are great fun for families with children! Most allow children from babies through elementary school to participant in the actual hunt, but almost all also have many other activities, music, food and entertainment for adults and older children. The egg hunts are usually right around Easter (obviously), often late March or early April - just click on the link to the event's website to find this year's date! There are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch! And if you would like to make your own natural organic Easter Egg dye, here's how to do it!

Bay City State Park Day Use area, Bay City, MI. Phone: 989-684-3020. Age Groups: 3 and under; 4 to 7 years; and 8 to 11 years. Bring your camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.

Central Park, Grand Haven, MI. Children up to 10 years old will be divided into age groups. Prior to the hunt, there will be a pancake breakfast across the street from the park at the Grand Haven Community Center, 421 Columbus Ave. Besides the traditional butter and syrup, a special pancake toppings bar will be available for the breakfast, which will be served from 9 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. The proceeds will benefit United Way agencies in Ottawa, Muskegon and Allegan counties.
