Easter Egg Hunts, Parades and Other Easter Fun in Massachusetts in 2014!

Want to go to an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Parade, Easter Train Ride or other Easter event in Massachusetts in 2015?

Here's Where to Find Easter Fun in Massachusetts!

There are Easter Eggs hunts all over Massachusetts in 2015!  They are great fun for families with children!  Most allow children from babies through elementary school to participant in the actual hunt, but almost all also have many other activities, music, food and entertainment for adults and older children.

The egg hunts are usually right around Easter (obviously), often late March or early April; in 2015, since Easter will be on Sunday, April 5th, most egg hunts will be held on Saturday March 28, 2015, and a few on the Saturday before that (March 21, 2015), and then even fewer are held on the Saturday right before Easter (April 4th) and on Easter Sunday. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute changes due to weather or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. There are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch! And if you would like to make your own natural organic Easter Egg dye, here's how to do it! And see these pages for a history of the Easter egg or the history of Easter egg hunts, and the origin of the Easter Bunny!  This page shows you how to hard boil eggs and this page how to blow (or empty) an egg. Finally, you will probably also like our sister websites, which help you find pick-your-own farmsto go pick strawberries, blueberries, apples, etc. in your local area!

Always confirm dates and times via the contact information provided - they often change or cancel and do not tell me!

Note: On the Easter Egg Hunt sponsor's website, usually, you will want to click on their calendar to see the details!

Worcester County 4-H will be showing baby animals and have information about joining a club or attending summer camp. Egg hunts will be held every half hour from 9:00 am to 3 pm. (  This is dramatically different from how we have done it in the past. Our goal is to make it more fun and enjoyable for you by reducing crowding. We strenuously urge you (fans of A Few Good Men will appreciate that) to consider the first two times. The 11:00 and 11:30 times will probably be very crowded! Earlier or later will likely result in a more pleasant experience for you parents and grandparents. The Easter Bunny will be out the entire time (save for a carrot juice break or two) enabling you to get a picture with the Bunny without having to wait in as long a line (we hope). Because the hunts are spaced so close, if you arrive late, we will ask you to wait for the next hunt to start, to avoid confusion. This is a great time for Easter Bunny pictures and to pat the animals that Worcester County 4-H is kind enough to bring to us. The Hunt will be held rain, shine, or other precipitation - it is New England after all. Enjoy some wholesome FREE family fun. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to park, get "unloaded", and for best "starting positions". Bring your kids and watch them hunt for hidden eggs in our park-like setting. Visit the Easter Bunny too! Real bunnies and baby goats will be on display too! Worcester County 4-H is participating.(ADDED: March 26, 2014)
